Minimalisticly gorgeous, I have been waiting the app for a long time and it just as good as the desktop version of Ello, simple, beautiful and efficient. The only missing function for me is private messaging.

Some bad moments

Unable for VoiceOver users to use Ello because buttons are not labelled. Use the "Accessibility" property to label the buttons, then the app will be blind users friendly.

I dont know why, but every time that I click to open the app, and then it open, it closed automatically. All the time, fix it soon.

I have an iPhone 5C and the app starts and closes automatically... Can you fix this bug ASAP?????

… you want to be close to your friends … pick up the phone … or … txt … or …. video conference. IF … you want to make friends … or NEW friends … get a dog and go for a walk. Tried … Tested … and True!

Title says it all. behavior as of Oct 15 2015 w/ latest version installed. I use a complex pw. Giving up on the app unless fixed.

Ello is replete with great artists. It remains a very interesting site, although as a visually-oriented social media, am not sure it is much different from Instagram (to be blunt). Im not impressed with the curation. I agree that curation is necessary, but mostly what Ive seen is juvenile, tedious and sometimes shockingly ignorant of internationally significant moments in time. The northern Alberta wildfire and evacuation of 90,000 people in a two-day period, or the Venice Bienale, to give two examples. How does curation happen? Who decides? Id like more sunshine on that, and maybe an opportunity to identify preferred curators, or select for curation themes.
