Interesting Still, but Curation is Iffy

Ello is replete with great artists. It remains a very interesting site, although as a visually-oriented social media, am not sure it is much different from Instagram (to be blunt).

Im not impressed with the curation. I agree that curation is necessary, but mostly what Ive seen is juvenile, tedious and sometimes shockingly ignorant of internationally significant moments in time. The northern Alberta wildfire and evacuation of 90,000 people in a two-day period, or the Venice Bienale, to give two examples.

How does curation happen? Who decides? Id like more sunshine on that, and maybe an opportunity to identify preferred curators, or select for curation themes.
