I opened an Ello account when IG announced the switch to an algorithm feed and I feel as if Ive come home. The focus on art of all types, the ability to have multiple photos in one post as well as being able to place a photo in a comment and communities based on the art medium are just a few reasons why I love this platform.

This is a wonderful place to share creative work and be inspired by the talent and skill of others. The user interface could be a little easier to navigate and load time is sometime quite slow. So far you will not find cheesy solicitations to grow your followers and there are no ads!

I joined Ello as an alternative to Instagram when they said an adjustment to the order in which our feeds are viewed was on its way. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the speed and lack of editing. Its pretty slow to load the updates feeds and I cant edit photos pre-posting, nor can I edit a post after Ive posted. Minor things that I can live without. All in all, pretty darn great!

The day before I found Ello my maker friends and I were talking about how we needed a new social media platform. Although Ello is not as intuitive as I had hoped, it is a great up and coming platform that with time will tweak itself into perfection. Thanks for being here Ello!!!

I cant login to your app. I reset my password then logged onto web version on phone. iPhone 6s+. Now I cant login to app. Says cant find account :)

This app was made by creators for creators. It is by far my new favorite platform because it has so much more ability than any of the competitors out there. Creative freedom out the wazooo! Just a matter of time before this thing explodes... Climb on board!

This app is so wonderful. I was sick of all the mindless chatter of other social media outlets. I want yo be inspired. Ello inspires me.

Love the app. Works well and makes its easy to connect with people

I like Ello and love ad-free for my art projects and I also want to be free of potty mouths or nudity and the ability to block users I do not like similar to what Reddit is now doing where you can put them in Bozo status. I like to keep a low profile. Will put this to 5 stars when I can do all the above in future updates.
