Unlike Facebook or Google, Ello gives you complete privacy and control. The app is nice. Its a bit more like Twitter (without a character limit) than facebook.

I like that ellos dev team seems to be attentive and always plodding away on their infrastructure. If theres one drawback to the app, its that the iPad version doesnt switch between portrait and landscape mode. Otherwise Ive been digging the community and using he latest version of the app to participate.

Totally worth the wait. All of the beauty of the Ello community, in an impressive mobile interface. Well done.

Great alternative to the ad-filled type of social media. Excellent interaction with other creative folks, and very much above the level of those who use social media for venting negativity.

Ello is my new social media haven. I can indulge my creative side by posting original content or browsing the endless stream of ridiculous talent posted by the community. The vibe here is good. Its definitely more artistic but, it seems everyone is welcome! This is a fresh community building on a solid platform. The developers are plucky and enthusiastic. The experience is crisp and clean. There are a few bugs from time to time, but, I can forgive them easily. For me, this is an alternative social media platform. I grew tired of Facebook and thought "There has to be a better way," just like in a cheesy infomercial. Since Ive joined Ello, things have gone from black-and-white-frowny-face, to full-colour-smiley-face. Great Job!

There is no other social platform like Ello and the app is so beautifully crafted. Large visuals, .gifs - terrific people + positive vibe. No ad (ever)!! No data collection (ever)!! Highly recommend for the creative class.

What Facebook should have been all along! Well thought out, minimalistic design, with NO ADS. Love the high quality content too
